Dr. Burns received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Brown University before earning his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. After completing his residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he underwent advanced specialty training in interventional radiology and oncology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center.
